Would like to purchase a few knives, figured if possible I’d support one or a couple of hide vendors. Thanks to anybody that can help.

just my 2 cents, buy from a licensed dealer because I’ve learned that certain companies like benchmade and hogue won’t honor their warranty unless you bought it from a licensed dealer.
so some sites look cheap but you may be stuck if you ever need repairs or a claim on the warranty.
Read their policy’s carefully, learned it and was shocked.

What kind of warranty were you getting on a benchmark? I send mine in for their lifesharp services and they don't question who I bought it from.

I work at a store with the numbers 5 & 11 in its title. That’s how I found out about the warranty limitations. It clearly stated that the dealer must be licensed or they would not honor the warranty. Even tho Benchmade and Hogue have lifetime warrantie.

Without Benchmade asking for a receipt when sending your blade in to get sharpened... how would they know where it was purchased?

I purchased from a dealer, however, I don't remember sending a copy of my receipt when I sent mine back for springs and a grind.
