Verizon, throttling attempts at logging onto Fox News

I'm not surprised. I switched to Spectrum Mobile after being with Verizon since 1999 when it was Airtouch. I swear my mobile speeds are faster and Spectrum uses Verizon towers. I'm also saving over $100 per month.

They've installed a "Douche Nozzle Restrictor" on him finally.

Lordy. Look at the circumference of the damn thing. That's impressive, in a "WHOLLY SHIT" kinda way.

I’m not noticing this on Verizon iPhone 12pro max, on LTE (no 5G in my area yet) and almost instant load on 5G. With Fox News, gab, this site, the new American, oann, etc. maybe there was a tower down in your area due to maintenance, weather, accident or such? Not that I’m defending Verizon mind you, I think they’re just as scummy as most tech companies, but I haven’t noticed yet. Yet. Any network slowdown for specific sites nor in general.

Yes, probably the case... but would not surprise me in the least that regional throttling could be taking place.. thanks for the input

The way it works in BFE, is carrier phones get precedence over non-carrier contracts.

I keep sticking it out ($100/mo for 2 phones) because of this. Always funny when I'm standing next to someone who can't make calls while mine goes through.

I do buy $200 phones with cash though. I don't need their finance plan for a $1k phone. That's a new scope every year.

I see data throttling, but it's always tower congestion. It'll be hit and miss throughout the day.
