I'm currently spec'ing out a custom 6.5 creedmoor build built by Alberta Tactical Rifle on a Cadex Dual Strike chassis, Defiance Rebel action, Timney trigger, Lilja barrel, Vortex PST 6x-24x-50 FFP (or LR17 3.2x-17x US Optics FFP scope), US Optics rings and anti cant device, but not sure to go with either a Versa-Pod M920 300 series 5-7" bipod or the Sierra 7 7-9" bipod, or perhaps an Atlas/Harris/Random Company?

Also what is a really good rest? I don't mind paying for something good in quality. So far the "best" I've come acoss is the Caldwell Lead Sled FCX Shooting Rest. What would you recommend?

This rig is mainly going to be a range toy for 1000-2000+ yard fun.

Ijust got one of these aluminum front rests. The guys in F Class Open use set ups like this. You will want the rear bag with the ears that will allow the rifle to track on recoil.
