Not sure if this falls under personal preference or proper form but when gripping a stock similar to a Manners T4/T2 or equivalent vertical grip stock, how should your trigger hand rest?

Specifically, when gripping the rifle should I use my index finger to space my grip downward allowing my trigger finger to move straight forward to the trigger or should my grip be higher with my middle finger behind the trigger basically stacked/overlapped with my index finger when pulling the trigger.

Thanks

I believe it falls under personal preference. But what ever you pick make sure you are consistent, changing your grip and finger interface with the trigger could create inconsistent trigger pulls which can influence accuracy.

Just my .02 hopefully some more experienced shooters/teachers can chime in.

I run my middle finger high into the stock so that when i move positions the weight is already resting on my hand and i dont have to change position back and forth when i move and stop to shoot. My grip is fairly loose so it kinda balances on that finger when im moving the rifle around.
