Hey guys I’m 6,4”, 345lbs and I’m looking for a tactical vest. Is it important for it to be waist length? We have a 5.11 store in town now and the vests are all the same. It can be adjusted to fit the girth but doesn’t make it to my waist, not sure if the shoulder straps can be loosened. I’m thinking about possible plate carrier as well. Should it be integrated or a separate piece? They also have the tactical t-shirts. Just personal protection and private security work.

Dude. I feel yer pain. I wore an issued one at the Sheriffs department, I’m not as big as you, but it didn’t fit correctly either. Plus it is hot as fuq. If I knew I was going to be inside all day mid summer, I simply didn’t wear it (approved by Sgt and Capt)
