Which of these models is the best when used with corn cob or walnut media?

With the media specified, the vibratory model is probably faster and more efficient albeit a little noisier.

Vib for the dry stuff, rotating for the wet stuff

I cannot imagine what a mess you would have with a gallon of water, Lemishine, Dawn and a couple of pounds of ground corncob.

I prefer to keep my brass and nickel cases dry, so i use cat litter in my RCBS vibratory tumbler.

They work different but both types work, both have adherents for different reasons. If there was a 'best' no one would use seoond best.
