Victor in Tn.

Re: Victor in Tn.

He was a good guy. I had great respect for him. Only invited a very few from here to hunt our family's place. He was one of them. Never made it since he would have to be too far from his health care. Hope is doing well.

Indeed.

Re: Victor in Tn.

I'm NOT dead...yet anyway. But I've been sick almost all this month. I just check in briefly. And not several times every day like before.

My son-in-law that is married to our oldest daughter wants me to take him hunting again this year. I may try to get out a few days in the middle of the day and take him out and I'll go back to the truck. Maybe I'll get this crud out of my head and chest soon and I can get out and in the woods before daylight like you're supossed to do.

My regular email is still the same as always; [email protected] if anyone wants to email directly, just put something in the subject line so I don't throw it in the spam box. Some days I check it, even if I don't make it here. My PC lost the hard drive a couple of months ago. So I lost all my email contacts. I can't email you if you don't send me your email first.

Thanks for being concerned. I don't have a lot of friends.

On the contrary, Victor. You have many people here who are concerned for your well being. Glad to hear that you are good to go (despite fighting the "crud"). Have a great Thanksgiving.

I know that Jim was involved in an accident and is improving. I haven't been there physically since mid summer. I get email updates from his wife.

I want to thank everyone here for checking on me. Seriously, I tend to be a bit of a hermit. It's hard to do any kind of serious research on anything for me unless it's quiet. That usually means alone. The friends I have that live close by understand this. They'll all tell you, I talk to much when the subject comes around to machining, welding, bullet design, loading or shooting.

Thanks again.

Re: Victor in Tn.

I heard he was recovering from a failed suicide attempt.

The Tennessee evening news reported an elderly gentleman was on top of the Walnut Street Bridge mumbling something about bringing back the Hot GF thread, and that life just wouldn't be worth living without it.

Godspeed with your recovery VNT!
