I was wondering if anyone can help ID my rifle. It's been passed down thru the family and now it's my turn. It's a FN or an Browning FN Made in Belgium. I don't know what model it is. It was purchased sometime in the late 50's. 30-06 stamped on the barrel. Single shot bolt Mauser action. It's in pristene condition (bluing, stock etc.) Not exactly sure what I've got here or it's apx. value. Not sure if anyone can help but any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don't have a clue what it is, other than that it's really pretty! Great looking rifle there.
Post pics of the markings on the barrel and receiver.

Commercial FN browning 3006 I had one before. Stock might be aftermarket the originals had a different style stock with a hard buttplate that would tenderize your shoulder. Mine sold for 1200 with a leupold back in maybe 2008? and the guy drove 200 miles to get it (since it was california he had to drive twice because of 10day wait). They are popular with the gray-haired crowd I would say 1500 ballpark.
