My buddy gave me a 20 # keg of IMR 4350 in a sealed metal can

, looking for input on lifespan, etc. Anything besides smell test to tell viability? Thank you in advance.

My uncle gave me a vintage metal 1 pound can of IMR4350, smells fine and not rusty. No issues using it for loading 260rem target/plinking loads.

If it smells like normal gunpowder then it's probably fine. I've been shooting a bunch of 30 year old IMR 4320 in my 223 that I picked up at the beginning of Covid for $10/lb.

The steel targets don't seem to ring any different.

If it does not smell funky you are good to go .
