Vintage Sniper Pistol, CMP 1911

After about two years wait with a number in the mid 1500's, I received my 1911 from CMP. Actually pretty nice. Refurbished at Anniston Army Depot in 1986 it has a Colt slide and a Colt frame.

What front sight does that have? The lighting doesn't let me see it.

People can say what they will, I still love the 1911 more than any other handgun.

Regular small blade front sight, staked in place.
