Texas, Alabama, Miss, and others are known for their rabid football fans, but up here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Virginia Tech puts on a pretty damned good show.

Yep, that's a tough opening show to beat. Too bad they're having a rough year. Hopefully they'll beat Marshall this weekend to keep the bowl streak going.
That’s impressive. I’m not a huge college football fan, but I’ve been to a few Husker games. They are decent, but VT has them beat for sure.
I've been to more games than I can count, but even this video game me chill bumps.
I love about 6 miles from lane stadium, the way of the crow, and I can hear the stadium from my house.

I AM a big college fball fan, the "pros" are well anyways wont' waste my time. A hokie game is definitely on my list to see, another is death valley for the run down the hill (Clemson.)

All that being said GO BLUE!! Hail the Victors
One of these days they'll get their stuff back together...at least we paid back PSU an MSU this year! As much as I don't like PSU if anyone hasn't been to a white out game it is very impressive as well.
