I am looking to buy one or the other, but I haven't seen one next to the other, or held a DD Omega. Which is better? Are they sturdy? I am trying to as little to the rifle as possible and still get a FF rail.

The DD Omega is a big and bulking rail, the CASV it is also heavy.
Go with a Larue Tactical or DD M4 or Lite Rail instead.
