So my Grandfather died and I inherited several older guns. This being one of them. From what I found through Google they aren't the greatest. I remember shooting it with him when I was a kid, cycled with brass didn't like steel case.
I have 2 problems,
1. The front sight is missing
2. 1 of the 2 30 round mags BARELY fits in the mag well, it will fit but it's very, very tight on the sides.
Was thinking about taking the mag and removing some metal off the sides to match the profile of the other mag that fits fine.
Stripped the gun and cleaned it last night, everything else looks good.
Even though it may be kind of a cheap gun, I want to get it going for centimental reasons and I find 30 rounds of 45 ACP through a 16.5" barrel pretty appealing.
