Vortex deal on Midway

So for Black Friday Midway has the Vortex Razor HD 20-60x85 with the Vortex tripod on sale for $1049 plus free shipping. Sounds like a good deal. Anyone out there use this scope and can verify if it's worth it?

Yes, I’ve used the big Vortex spotter for several classes, and many range sessions. That particular tripod I’ve not used.

Mission drives the gear so think about what your doing with it. I hauled the 20-60x85 around with all of my other gear in my pack. I now use a smaller spotter for that particular chore, and reserve the bigger spotter for trips to the range.

It really depends on your definition of a good deal.
