Not sure if there's been any testing done to see if the flash from a 308 boltgun would be reduced by using a Vortex flash hider. I was looking at a picture a M14 with a Vortex on it ? Anyone one here have a opinion
Yep it works. I have one on a 22 barreled .308. I use it when not shooting suppressed. I like the looks of it much better than a boring old thread protector and it doesn't seem to negatively affect accuracy.
Thanks for your help; I was thinking of rebarreling my rifle. I like the idea of having it as a option and like you said maybe when I can afford a supressor. The only thing would be the dust it would kick up.
