I have the Sig, I have never seen the Vortex but so far I can't complain about the clarity of the optics.
For me the Bluetooth connectivity to a Kestrel, phone app and BDX scope was the reason to go with the Sig.
I've ranged a house out to 1,800+ yards, haven't tried farther due to blocked sight lines.
I haven't tried any real alpha class binoculars, the best I can do is a side by side with my Vanguard Endeavor ED 10x42s.
I doubt that the Vortex will be so much better glass that anyone who wants the connectivity will give it up.
