Vortex Impact 4000 ARD Cover

Here is a project I was asked to make. A friend of mine hated how reflective the front lense of the Vortex Impact 4000 is so he asked me to make a cover for it. I didnt like the clip on style all to much, so I 3D scanned the range finder and decided to make my own design. Hope you like it.

The final parts are going to be made on an industrial 3D printer so you wont see layer lines.

I should be getting a more professional set of parts in by the end of next week. Im also going to start testing it over the next few weeks afterwards. Is there anything that you want to see tested?

I got the pre production prototypes in today and put them together. These were printed out of Nylon 12 on a MJF printer. Made to handle bumps and bashes. It still allows for proper ranging function too.

I changed the design slightly, I pushed back the ARD in the cover so that it has more of a sunshade appearance. this change is purely for how the cover looks. It still functions just the same.
