I run mostly Nightforce and Bushy. I know the hierarchy of those lines and it's petty easy to understand. I have started to study the Vortex line as I hear good things. I have a couple hunting rifles I am considering the 2.5-10X44 or 32. Is that just SFP VS FFP? The 32 I saw cost more than the 44. , both PST's?

What is the best to worst of their line? I don't want to spend NF money. Like $600 to $800 range for a 2.5-10 or 4-16 ish scope , mil mil.
I see scopes on the used exchange and Sport Optics etc, help a brother get these tiered out from best to worst and your thoughts.
Ie is it ?
Razor
Viper
PST

And what scope would you get for a 7 mag hunting rifle?

Thanks

Supposedly the x32 is twice the scope as the x44. Glass etc being compared to NF. Just what I've read. I have tried razor 5-20, 6-24 pst ffp, 1-4 pst, and 4-12 diamondback. Anywhere in their line is great value for dollar.

I have heard pst models do not like magnums. Not sure if there is any truth to that. I have 4-12 bdc diamondback on my 7mag and so far it is holding up great. Seems to outperform $350 scopes and it can be found less than $200. When I went to pick it up the guy next to me was buying a Zeiss because he was on his third viper. None would hold zero on his .338 win mag.

I almost went that route. It is a nice little scope, glass wise for the price. But it lost my interest with no parallax, second focal, and MOA turrets vs a mil-based reticle. The pst beats it in every aspect and has similar quality glass, only downfall being $200 more and 3 ounces heavier.
