I must give some resounding accolades to Vortex Optics.
As someone who wanted the best optics product I could afford I researched and settled on Vortex about 7 years ago. My first purchase was the Gen 1 Razor 5-20 MRAD. Now I am the owner of 5 Vortex scopes: 2 Gen 1 Viper PST FFP 6-24, 1 Razor Gen 1 and 1 Razor Gen 2 5-25 MRAD. I’ve always been pleased with the toughness, clarity and features for the money and until recently I only had 1 issue with a PST developing spots when you looked through the scope (which was repaired and returned in about a week. 2 weeks ago I setup to do some scope tracking tests using the snipershide tracking target.
The Gen 1 was off by about 2 clicks for every MIL on the target. Hmmmm that is not right. So, I send Vortex an email and a nice lady named Kathy responded and sent me a pre filled out warranty return form. Shipped the scope off and 10 days later the scope is returned. Opened the box and it isn’t my scope. It is a new Gen 1 Razor. I found the paperwork and I see why. To much ring torque damaged the erector beyond repair. You just can’t beat that kind of warranty service on an optic.... even when your customers can be stupid… And a very good Optic at that.
Thanks Vortex Team for really standing by your customers !!!!
