Looking to buy a used viper but buying used does have risk. If this scope has any mechanical defects I was wondering if vortex will honor the warranty if it's owned by someone other then the original purchaser. Thanks for any infonyou may have

Isn't it nice to see a warranty that shows you how many ways you are protected as a customer with a product vs how many ways you will be left holding a broken POS.
Also, a warranty that takes just a few simple ENGLISH sentences to cover just about everything! THEY USE THE WORD "PROMISE"!
