Vortex PST gen ii 2-10 .... who’s got em?

Tell me everything about the scope, what you like and dislike, most importantly is it useable at 2x and If it’s suitable for 556. It will be going on a mock12 build.

I have a PST gen ii 2-10. It was my first FFP scope and the reticle is much smaller than I expected. However, comparing with another FFP (4-16) scope that I have, I find the pst gen ii reticle is clearer and more usable for close-up shot. Even better if I turn on illumination. Also you should note that it's quite a heavy scope for its magnification range.
