I’ve heard that Vortex is coming out with a new laser rangefinding bino with GeoBallistics. Anyone have any info on this?

Allegedly razor level glass. An updated HUD would be a worthy improvement, but I don’t know if that’s the case or not. But moving to GB from AB is a hard sell for many of us.What do those of us who have the "Applied Ballistics" Vortex Fury HD 5000 AB Binos do?
Can't connect them to the AB app....kind of the whole reason I bought them.
A year back I was told by a rep that they're going to be GB software, but add an etched mil reticle.
Unfortunately for me this is one step forward two steps back.

To me, it’s not really an issue of whether or not some other solver fails you. I have a 10-year old set of Leica HD-B 2200’s, and that shitty Leica solver has worked in comps and on many hunts.
The point is how many of the same thing do you want to manage. Having an AB kestrel, and an AB phone solver, and AB in binos, and AB in a WMLRF is just simpler compared to AB in kestrel, and GB in binos, and Revic on phone, etc.
Edit to add: The AB CDMs/PDMs are also just simpler to G1/G7’s IME. Again, BC’s can work fine, but IME, the Doppler files are better.

GB isn’t bad as a solver necessarily but it’s also the support and ecosystem. GB doesn’t get any love. My GB lines up to my AB within a couple tenths inside of 1k but never could get it to fully fully line up. The other reason I told the other guy to sell his Fury AB is future support. Firmware updates etc. if and it’s an if Vortex continues to support those binos I think things like updates will always be at the bottom of the list.
