Looking to get an LPVO for an sr15 mod 2 i just picked up and need some glass for it.
gonna be a HD and farm gun so pretty much anywhere from 3 yards to 450ish yards.
should i get the vortex gen 2 E 1-6 or spend some more for either of the nightforce options? would the ATACR 1-8 be wasted on a non DMR/precision gun?
if anyone has experience with both(all 3) optics in question, how does the illumination compare on them?
mostly looking for something that is as close to true 1x as possible with a really bright center dot but can zoom in 6x - 8x for longer shots.
what sayeth the hide?
