Rifle Scopes Vortex razor 4.5-27x56 vs Bushnell DMR II 3.5-21x50

I have both of these scopes and I cannot decide which one to use on my competition gun. Both have great glass and everything. Anyone know of a reason for one over the other?

I'd go with the DMR2 Pro or XRS2 over a standard DMR2. The Pro and XRS2 use better glass than the standard DMR2.

I have the DMR-II and razor gen ii. Those are my only options

Depends. How much does your rifle weigh? Want to add another six pounds, then use the Vortex. If you want a lighter rifle, use the Bushy.?

What reticle do you like better?

It's coming down to personal preference at this point.

I'd still go with the Bushnell, but I am also an admitted Bushy fanboy.

I really like my DMRII...never tried the Razor admittedly but I can attest to the DMRII performing great for competition.

Weight doesn’t matter. I guess I’ll just see which one looks better on the gun lol

Bushnell has narrower FOV and only focuses to 75y, it also has a 50mm objective vs. 56mm. You didn't mention it but if you have the non-illuminated DMR II that may be another factor. If any of those pose an issue for you then the Vortex might be the better choice. Both scopes are known to be rock solid mechanically so it may come down to nitpicking certain features. If you don't care about the weight, I think the Gen II 4.5-27x56 offers a better overall package than the DMR II.
