Vortex Razor HD Gen 1 20-60x85 vs Athlon Ares G2 20-60x85

Hello,

I am looking for a spotting scope for an upcoming Wyoming mule deer hunt and to use at the range. These seem to be roughly the same price right now. I know the Athlon Ares is really good and punches above its price point in the 15-45x model. How does the 20-60x Ares compare to the Gen 1 Razor in 20-60x? Anyone used both and have an opinion on optical quality?

The Razor looks to have better FOV and be slightly more compact at first glance.
