Vortex Razor HD Gen 2 4.5 Battery Cap Removal

Hi,

Alright, I'm back for everyone to laugh at me again and I guess that's a decent substitution for cheap beer. Does anyone know how to remove the battery cap on the above mentioned scope? I've lost the sacred Vortex tool that came with the scope, but that can't be the only way. The turret for the illumination has a locked position, then an unlocked position to adjust the brightness of the reticle; I've tried both positions when attempting to unscrew the cap to no avail. Any help much appreciated.

I marred the cap a little because it's been so long since I took it off and used one of my gunsmithing flatheads; I contacted Vortex about a replacement cap and they still haven't sent that. Thanks for the answer!

The head of a .308/6.5, etc casing works well.

I did get cheated out of the Gen 3 Razor by buying the 2 for roughly the same price before it came out...
