Rifle Scopes Vortex skyline spotter vs Bushnell Excursion tac?

Im trying to buy my first spotting scope and it seems that every time i make up my mind on one i find another. Don't want to make a mistake so im researching the best i can.

I was going to pull the trigger on a Bushnell Excursion tac model as most of the reviews are really good but some are a little iffy and i really like the idea of the reticle for ranging and spotter corrections.

Now im looking at the Vortex skyline as my second option and am wandering if anyone has one that could give me a small review or comparison. Or opinions on a different scope all together.

Im trying to stay in the $400 range.

i have the bushnell and like it. could use a little more power for spotting 22 cal holes farther out but its great for calling corrections.

if i remember correctly I can pretty much see 22cal holes out to about 200yards. 30 cal farther. shoot and see or painted steel, farther.

its a good little scope, not the best in the world, but there's nothing else in the price range that has the reticle.

get a slik tripod and the bushnell and go shoot.

i like my Bushnell mildot for calling corrections, (they should have gone with a MLR redicle)

do you think the 20-60x80 model would be worth the extra 100 bucks
299 for the 60 and 399 for the 80

I have been very happy with Vortex items, for the price they have always been very nice. I really like the Vortex Hand-held units. I have also been using the Bushnell Excursion and I'm really happy with it also.

Mike out of the 2 scopes the op was talking about which one has the clearest glass at all power ranges?
