Rifle Scopes Vortex spotting scopes

Re: Vortex spotting scopes

I've used a friend's Vortex Skyline (non-ED) and it is a great spotter, esp. since the older version he got (lacking only the fine dual-focus) was only $300. Quality products and an outstanding warranty. I've never had any issues with my Razor bins.

Re: Vortex spotting scopes

I have an ED Vortex spotter and it is a great piece for the money. Great glass and works as expected. I will say that the first one I received had a bad focus knob. One call to Vortex and they sent me out a new one and included a return shipping label for the return. Great customer service and a no questions asked free replacement.

Re: Vortex spotting scopes

I have the new Vortex Razor HD and it is unbelievably good glass. There are a couple of tiny things I would change. I wish the sunshade would click into place more firmly along with the scope pivot ring detents. For <$1400 it can't be beat especially when you consider that the quality compares to the top of the line Kowa and Swarovski.

Re: Vortex spotting scopes

I bought a Skyline ED angled and have about 2 months time on it in the field and at the range.
Extremely nice optic with good image and color rendition and very, very good depth of field.
