Rifle Scopes vortex viper and cross fire?

Re: vortex viper and cross fire?

How long have you been looking at them and from what range?

Just kidding with you. Check here first: http://www.vortexoptics.com/category/riflescopes

then Google is your friend.

bottom line = Vortex optics (with scopes anyways) has different levels of quality, performance, features, etc. They have the same warranty I believe. from the low end, there is Crossfire, then Diamondback, then Viper, then Razor. The new Viper PST's may fall in between the Vipers and Razors. But for details, check out their website.

Re: vortex viper and cross fire?

The crossfire is a good scope if you don't mind the AO (adjustable objective) for $99 from SWFA. I bought one and it's on a .223. It's performed well so far, but I've heard mixed reviews on them. Now, if I had paid the regular price for it, before SWFA put them on sale, I would not have been very happy with it. The warranty from vortex is supposed to be great, I've never had to use it yet so that's just what I hear.

Re: vortex viper and cross fire?

I have a Viper 6.5-20x on my Cooper 57M in 22lr and I'm very impressed with it. Very nice glass, nice positive, reliable turrets. Great value for the money. Now if Vortex would just hurry up and send me my rebate it would be even better.

We've shot the Viper extensively on our Barrett M99 with no issue. I haven't had a Crossfire on that gun yet.
