Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP (mRad)

Hi everyone,
Yes, I know, a lot of talk about the Vortex scopes in the forum. I did try to use the search function but couldn't find anything at least when it comes to hunting. The thing is I got my scope today (will be used for range and hunting) and I would like to hear your experience with this scope when it comes to hunting.

As far as hunting, I think you have too much mag on the low end unless you plan on shooting at pretty far distances. For hunting, I would have opted for at least 3x or 4x on the low end, and no more than 16x on the high end....but I have owned the Vortex PST before and it is a great optic all around, so no problems there.

I actually like that mag, probably personal preferences. I fully understand what you mean and also understand how your thinking. The thing is, moste of my shots will be 150-300 yards. Of course some will be at closer range. And as I see it, the most important thing with all hunting is ethical performance, and that requires good equipmen (and knowledge). But hopefully I'll fall in love with The Vortex, as many allready have
