Hello dear Snipershide users,
First of all, in my first post so far, I want to express my big esteem for the very helpful discussions and professional opinions, comparisons and reports here about rifle scopes!
I’d want to use them to finally get a solid peace of mind about the rifle scope I should choose for my future Winchester XPR in 6.5 Creedmoor that I’d want to shoot at up to 1300 yards.
It would be great if you could help me to decide between the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 FFP with EBR-2C reticle and the Bushnell Elite Tactical DMRII 3.5-21X50 FFP with G3 reticle.
Actually for my decision I just need to know if the DMRII is significantly better than the Viper PST Gen II. But it really has to be clearly better to justify it’s (relatively) much higher price!
My requirements are unexceptional reliability and precision, a maximum of robustness, adjustment in MIL/MRAD steps, a illuminated reticle in the first focal plane (similar to the EBR-2C and G3) and a price as low as possible but without limiting my potential performance at this range.
That’s why I’m choosing between those two scopes. But if you know an even better value for the price feel free to mention it!
I’m very thankful for your recommendations and suggestions!
With best regards.
