Rifle Scopes vortex viper scopes

Hey Guys,
just got a remmy tactical sps in .308 going to use it for hunting and some long range shooting out to 800 yrds.I have seen the vortex viper scopes with hold over retical 4x12x40 sf what do you think of these scopes for hunting and informal target shooting.

I have the Viper 6.5-20x44 BDC reticle and I really like it. Good quality glass, solid construction and the turrets are really nice, no tools required to zero them! just pull them up and drop them back down, they are spring loaded so you don't have to worry about them coming up when you don't want to
