Vortex Viper Spotting Scope

Is anyone using the Vortex Viper Spotting scope? If so what is your feed back and is there any others that can get out to 1000 yards without being over priced and rectile? Looking for feedback on spotting scopes before I purchase one....Thanks

I have a Bushnell w/ mil ret for just under $500 and it works just fine for me out to 1100. I am not a fan of Bushnell warranty, I only used it once and they wanted me to pay for the shipping and sent back a different model scope than I sent in. When contacting Bushnell, that was their warranty policy. This was a couple years ago and they have updated their warranty.

I just picked up the Vortex Recon R/T refurb from AA Optics for $400. I’m like it so far. Very small setup and easy to pack. Will be taking to a match in a couple of weeks and can report back after.

I was running the Vortex Razor HD spotter, I was not super impress with the performance. I now running Bushnell forge 15x56 binos and love it. It's all about compromise, size, weight, mag power, price and what works for you.
