Wal-mart annouced today. No ammo or gun sales to anyone under 21.

I know they suck but they are big.

If my only child wasn't going to be 21 soon i might go and try to start a law suit.

Walmart is the largest retailer in the world with incredible buying power. The one by me didn't have any 22lr for years. I lost interest in going in there for anything else.

Does anyone buy firearms at WalMart? Seriously... you can get better deals just about anywhere. They have no selection. Even ammo sucks there. Though you can get cheap skeet and duck shells there... selection is so limited as to be laughable. And the moonpie-sucking boozle behind the counter can't even find a box that you're pointing at... or read the print.

WalMart should have stayed out of the sporting arms business to begin with. Dicks, too. They're for kayaks and curling shoes and golf clubs... so much fail in a Dicks' store.

Meh, good riddance WalMart. All they ever did with their gun sales is use it as an excuse to preach to us and put out press releases about how responsible they all are.

Cheers,

Sirhr

I try to avoid those American business destroying, China enriching crappy places as much as possible.

Had a good conversation with my son yesterday in and after leaving a Wal-Mart. He needed a pocket size bottle of bug spray to take on a trip and the wife couldn't find it elsewhere, so we were in wal-mart. I let him pick out some fishing lures and we looked at everything in the camping/fishing/hunting section. There was a small hatchet in camping that was about $8. "How can they make that for $8?" Similar reaction to some knives and other cheap crap in there.
