Thinking of going with a Warne tactical base on my savage precision 10 223. Does anyone know if this base has a recoil lug.?? Or is it really nessarry. ??? Any suggestions welcome.
I hade a Warne Tactical base on a 5r I used to have and IIRC it did not have a recoil lug. For a .223 my personal opinion is that it's not really a necessity to have one. The Warne base was pretty nice but I did have to bed it to my action. I have a Seekins base on my current rifle and it's really nice and does have a recoil lug.
