Rifle Scopes Warne Tactical Rings

Re: Warne Tactical Rings

Warnes are built like tanks. The only problem that I encountered was that they are a little trickier to get the scope mounted being that they are vertically split rather than horizontally. Otherwise I don't think that they would disappoint.

Re: Warne Tactical Rings

They seem built well and do a good job of holding the rifle but I dislike having to take the rings apart to switch between rifles.

I don't really care for that floating piece of metal that fits between the rings either.

Re: Warne Tactical Rings

for 88$ you can use 4 warne rings, held with a total of 16 screws and 4 rail lugs, no set of 150$ rings can possibly be more effective to hold a scope

Re: Warne Tactical Rings

I love mine, don't have experience with the other high quality stuff, but this one works well for me without any problems

I think for a ring what someone needs to look for is that they just work as intended... and these do

it is weird to put them on and off though, little tricky. and I don't care for that floating piece either

Re: Warne Tactical Rings

I'd recommend the Warne Maxima Quick Detach over the tacticals, still beefy but with a quick lever/clamp so when removing the scope from the rail the rings are never loosened from the scope itself.....

+1

I have two sets of the QD's. Holding up to .308 and a Grendel just fine.
