    WARSHington State
Haven't read the whole article, but whomever did the research has their head up their ass. Taxes, dipshit governor and legislature... couple POS Senators in DC. I think NOT! Perhaps ID or MT, definitely not Washington State.

Seattle a great substrate for building businesses...laughable. A shithole full of theives and addicts. Not to mention the riots this summer.

Much of Eastern Washington, however, is GOD's Country! ;)

I lived west of Seattle on the peninsula in Poulsbo, for about 5 years & left in 2014. It was my little area of heaven, where mountains meet the ocean. ❤️ One of the greatest aspects of living in WA was no state income tax. I loved not paying state income taxes. It was shortly around 2014ish when downtown Seattle started going deeper down the drain.

Like CA and OR, Washington is a beautiful state, aesthetically speaking. The problem is the politics are so f'd up and the place is full of left wing wack jobs. No State income tax but the sales tax is a joke.

Definitely not Idaho or Montana. I hear Illinois is a nice place to move if your a Californian looking for a utopia.

I agree with the above posting that Oregon and Washington are aesthetically fabulous, but the politics of both states are terrible. Liberals have taken over both states, and while the liberals have the numerical superiority, the geographic majority of both states are conservative. Oregon has no sales tax, but has an income tax, and Washington has no income tax, but has a sales tax that averages just under 10%.

Having lived in both states, it feels like Washington state tries harder to get more money out of people through fees, licenses, tolls, and whatever else they can think of. It feels like Washington always has their hand out to try and take more money.

Some folks who live close to Oregon go down to Oregon to do their shopping, then bring things back to Washington. While illegal, it does give them the best of both states...unfortunately, the liberal politics still exist.

Colorado is nice too. Please move here, inflate the price of my house so I can finance a little less when we decide to move...

"No sales tax" is meaningless. The state spends a certain amount of money and if they don't get it from one tax, they will get it from another.

There is no such thing as a tax reduction, they will only raise another tax. The only thing that is meaningful is a spending cut which never happens.

New Mexico is beautiful and warm.

This state has everything I enjoy, but as everyone knows, it’s being destroyed by the politicians, and the outright socialists that live here.

If the state is ran by communists, it has zero appeal to me and nothing to offer.

It would be a lot better if they drew a line north to south starting at the peak of Mt. Baker to Mt. Rainer to Mt. St. Helens, to Portland, and made the east side of that line a whole new state......residents get to pick the new capitol city and state name. The west side of that line can then be free to create the “utopia” they want called “North San Francisco”. I can’t stand how large cities like Seattle get to control the politics of whole states leaving the people out of those cities completely without representation.
