Anyone know where to get information on waterborne ops training? I have done a search here and on the internet but I am obviously not putting in the proper string of words because I keep getting garbage. I am looking for some minimum requirements, skill level, what is needed, problems to plan for, proper ways to traverse, swim, and keep your gear good. Any good Intel or where to look would help since I am completely uneducated.

Re: waterborne op training

So your occupation equals government but you have no access to this type of information?

Maritime Operations covers A LOT of "specialized areas"..what are you looking for specifically?

That is sorta like asking for jungle operations information but not giving what "job" in that jungle operations you wanting information on.....

Here are a few pics to show the different "areas"

Re: waterborne op training

HSS International has a host of Maritime courses. I have not been to one of their classes in several years but took the Tactical Swimmer in 05. It was ok, too many sub par students held back the class.

Re: waterborne op training

I like to jump in my pool with my tactvest/sidearm/rifle and see how long it takes me to pee on myself as i sink to the bottom......

Really, join the military if you want some formal training.

if not, go duck hunting in a kayak...

Dont pee, the zombie amebas will follow you piss and take up residence in your pee pee hole. Now I have to go find my old Panama E&E map just so I can remember what the real name of the zombie ameobas are LOL

Re: waterborne op training

Later can get you trained up for bikini season. His new course is Tactical Two Piece.

There was a school down around Key West, if Im not mistaken. I couldve sworn it was called Waterbourne Ops or something to that effect.
