We’ve finally adopted with Russian aircraft technology circa 1930

Always wondered why there weren’t more pushers..guessing the integration tech wasnt around or robust /light enough to make it feasible.

Although after watching some Ukrainian videos I can see why the marines dinked so much money in the osprey. Higher and faster.

Shoulder fired anti air weapons make a chopper a bad place to be.
 
Harold F. Pitcairn was the genius. Igors first chopper was a wreck after 2 minutes, vibration so bad the pilots hands were numb. Pitcarin's first (after his mysterious death) was stable and hands off. He came up with the whole rotor head assembly, lead/lag/ flapping hinges, cyclic and collective controls.

The troop bay doors on that thing need to be significantly widened.
