Theres great info in the IFAK sticky. We need a sticky thread started by somebody that knows their shit on body armor. I have been looking all over for the stuff and its alot of info to take in and finding explainations of stuff is confusing. And not just plate carriers. Knee pads, helmets, all that.

So what website should I be on?
Try Arfcom, or one of the dozens of airsoft sites where bozos talk about their tactical gear and run around comparing "SHTF" lists and photos of gear they bought and will never use.
If you have a legit need for it there's a MIL/LE section you can post in and you'll get a much less snarky response.
If you want to run around playing operator this isn't the place to ask about what you need for your costume.
This site deals with tactical rifle shooting and IF you were doing that for real you would know the only good the kneepads would do you would be at the job interview in your bosses office and the helmet for when you get thrown out, so you don't hurt your head.
