Just purchased a 257 Weatherby mag. To say I'm impressed with the ammo is an understatement. I got the cheapest ammo they made $33 dollers a box. Measured each shell to the ogive measurement and they were all within .002. Weighed each loaded shell (bullet, case, powder) and they were all within .5 grains of each other with 15 of 20 being the same. That's handloading consistent. I could buy loaded ammo for $33 a box or brass alone for $32, just hope they shoot well.

Re: Weatherby Ammo

I helped a friend load some 7mm Weatherby for hunting rounds. He bought the cheapest dies he could get but good bullets. they were shooting right at 1 MOA. Plenty good for wacking a deer in Kentucky where he would have 150 yard shot at the longest.
