I recently purchased and mounted the Weaver 3x15x50 FFP on my .260. Love the scope so far. Was looking to get some BC caps and a sunshade for. it. I read some posts here on the hide and found out that Weaver didn't/doesn't make a sunshade for this scope but the Super Slam 50mm will fit. Every site I've looked at purchasing from has them being discontinued. Is it true and if it is, is there a suitable replacement. I would think with all of the 50mm obj there would be one with the same diameter and thread pattern. Does anyone know?

NightForce NXS 3.5-15x50 works. It screws in perfectly, but it is slight smaller. To me it is not even that noticeable. Also color is a little off... but it works!
Im gonna let out something I discovered. Nitrex was a company under Weaver that makes almost identical scopes, but lesser quality? Their 50mm sunshade is the same as the SS and tactical. And it only comes in silver. All I had to do was buy some flat black spray paint and it match near perfect. Good luck!
