Ive wanted to do the Bastille for 10 years. Figured now or never. It was an awesome climb!

Wasnt on the sharp end cuz it was kinda a spur of the moment decision to do it and I wasnt too sure I could handle the DULL end! Hadnt climbed in a while. Happy to say I never fell (on THAT route anyway...) and never had to hang-dog.

Its only a 5.7 but it's a fairly sustained 5.7.

A long 5.7 hand crack sounds great. There are a couple like that at Enchanted Rock that Karl and I used to love running. I love a nice sweeping crack with a little layback. Looks like fun.
