Are you trying to call the coyotes or just setting up and hopeing one will walk by. From the picture it looks like a good area too try calling.

Typically I do not use a call.. I rely on the natural cycle of the farm to hunt .... farm I hunt on is about 120 acres.....I know when they are cutting hay/alfalfa and hunt the fields on that day.. have had very good luck with a CZ452....if I can get them with 75 yds...

Do the coyotes come out to scavenge on animals that go through the combine when they are cutting?

Yes..sometimes they will walk behind the cutter looking for mice/rabbits...pieces of turkeys etc...
