Photos Went shootin today...

1st group of 5 - .454 inches, 2nd group of 5 - .442 inches, 3rd group of 5 - .312 inches. The 1st 4 shots on the last group were all in one "barely" ragged hole. But of course on the 5th shot... well, you know. I really felt the last shot was a good one too, but it opened up anyways from the other 4 shots.

So to me, the rifle shoots better with a fouled barrel. WAY better!!

Gear used: Savage 10FPLE .308, Explore Optics 4-16x50MM TTMD, Ultramax 168gr. BTHP Match, Harris Bipod, Rear Bag.

I will say this... I had the hardest heartbeat going on when I squeezed the last one off. It gave me a headache!!

The powder and charge are unknown to me. I am still shooting factory loaded Ultramax 168gr. BTHP Match ammunition. With my rifle shooting like it does, I am happy with it...

We took the Snipers Field Craft class in Utah a few months back when it was warm out. I had planned on shooting at the Colorado Rifle Club shoot, but things just didn't work out that way.

I would love for all the Colorado shooters here to have a big get-together with possibly a campout. That would be a blast!!

Get some Ultramax 168gr. BTHP's and send them downrange... you just never know.

fantastic shooting. would love to see how you do on lowlights single shot/dot drill.

nothing more satisfying then shooting, and wondering where the hell the hole is, then realizing that you just made the previous hole a smidge bigger.

I have the dot drill printed out, and I will be shooting it on the next outing. I shot the dot drill with my kiddos Mossberg .22lr, and it was a sad sight to see. I have no doubt that the Savage will fair quite a bit better.

Satisfying was thrown out the window with the last shot. My heart was getting with it so bad it gave me a headache!!

This is true, My stock Remmy shot those ultramax rounds in on raged hole also.
That was totally unexpected as they were being used for barrel break in only.
However the next box of a different lot did not perform.

Nice shooting! It's refreshing to see a whole unedited target of 5 shot groups; Especially good ones! I got a chuckle out of your last group. Been there a time or 15 myself. Make sure to post your 'Hide dots!
