Gave the 308 a makeover. Way more mobile and convenient. Consistency seems to have been improved.

Before it weighed 18lbs with bipod.
New stock weighs 3.25# less. 6" less barrel and no bipod mount. I would think under 12. Probably less. I'm thinking a little lighter scope and ring combo maybe SS 3-9x42 would be sweet.

Off the bench I can't tell a difference in recoil from before to after.

how do you like the new stock compared to the old one?
significant difference in stability or fit?
were your groups tighter afterward the barrel / stock swap?
