It looks like all the Optika scopes are discontinued. There’s some new MeoPro and MeoForce scopes available. How are these in comparison to the Optika line which were good values? The Meopta website doesn’t tell you much and requires you click on the whole catalog to learn anything useful.

maybe @koshkin knows something?

Current scope lines are:
MeoHunter R5
MeoPro R6
Optika5
Optika6MeoStar R2
The MeoHunter, MeoPro and Optika's are designed and quality control checked in Czech Republic and assembled in China. Meopta, at this time, does not have a location in the USA so all Meopta products must go back to the Czech Republic for service. At SHOT Meopta did say they should have a center here in the US by late Spring

Thanks Doug. I did not know they were assembled in China.

Odd that their website only mentions MeoPro and MeoHunter. So was thinking they are coming out with a new generation MeoPro to succeed the Optika line.

Doug, do you have any experience with the MeoHunters?

I sure hope they bring a service center to the USA. I have a pair of Meostar 15x56 that are out of collimation. Shipping to the Czech Republic would be over $50, each way in addition to the $400 they quoted me. I’m not sure that I’ll have them repaired. I certainly would not buy the brand again.

2025 meopta catalog link. check it out. looks like they changed the turret sytem but not sure and scope design but basically the same zoom options from previouse optika 6 witch will be the meopro R6 model now. https://www.meoptasportsoptics.com/usa/files/katalog_2025_EN.pdf

right around 3 min mark new line meopro R6 windage turrets locking update
