What are the best pro-gun lobbying organizations to join/support?

So far I'm only a member of the GOA.

I used to be an NRA member, but I think they spent more money sending me donation requests than I even gave them for a membership, and I often hear complaints about how they compromise too much.

I love what the NSSF does, especially with their instructional videos on Youtube, so I was going to likely send them a donation. Supposedly membership is only for people working in the firearm industry.

Who makes the biggest difference? I see Ohio and Florida are trying to pass constitutional carry. What organizations, if any, are putting some resources behind these kinds of efforts?

Thanks

Protect The Harvest does a lot of good stuff. Excellent organization.

GOA

You'll have to go to the individual states 2A movement pages to figure out who is doing what. NRA's ILA does do stuff, just not as much as I'd like. When I was in CA, I was donating to the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA) and Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC).

I just started a monthly recurring donation to GOA in addition to my membership fees. I'll check out Protect the Harvest, and the Ohio page, thanks for the tips.

i know it's popular now to hate the NRA, but let's face it, if they were doing a bad job of protecting 2A, every single anti/leftist wouldn't be on the warpath to abolishing them. and what are we talking about, the cost of a box of ammo annually, at worst it goes to waste but surely some of it will help our cause.

I don't believe that to be true anymore. The far left is arming just as fast as they can (https://socialistra.org/). I would say that the ruling class (right and left) are the ones who want to see all the guns gone.

Edit: GOA is my go to

#ReformTheNRA (Its the left's favorite boogey man--we might as well take advantage of it).

FPC and GOA are good though

i love the irony that Communists have an online store :ROFLMAO:.....the grift wont pay for its self.
I didn't even look at the store. Shit $12 for a patch, lol

I am wondering about the FPC myself. Until Wayne L. steps down I will not be sending even pocket fuzz to the NRA (life member). FPC is touted some here, but I get the fund raiser emails EVERY DAY from them and they are way over needy and seem scam like. They are in a constant state of Panic and Donate today or DOOM on you is the every day demand. If this is just a bad marketing team, they need a clue. If anyone can vouch for them I'd love to hear. I am thinking GOA and 2AF will get some money in 2022 if not them.

Buckeye Firearms Assoc. seems pretty legit, but they do shill for the NRA.

I visit enough that I gladly give to the TSRA. They have their act together! Also a member of the GOA, 2AF, and the ASA.

as others have said, GOA is the best hands down
NJ has one but it's for NJ

I’ve been an NRA member because of my fclass classification. But the others mentioned above deserve the $$ more

But if you want to put money into something that really counts,

Buy more guns
Buy more ammo

You’ll always get a return on those
