question.. what are the best groups have you guys shot with silver bear 308 ammo or the cheaper wolf 308 ammo. also what gun did you use. i was just wondering if any one could shoot 1 1/2 innh groups with this cheap ammo at 100 yards. thanks. marty

One of the funniest stories I have heard is a guy pulled the bullets out of some Wolf and hand loaded some AMAX in the Wolf cases and when they were out shooting said, I bet my Wolf can out group your handloads, then proceeded to put a bug-hole on paper with his "match grade" Wolf ammo. All the other guy could see was the spent cases as he was shooting one of the DPMS rifles, I believe it was his 6.5 Creedmoor in DPMS....Funny shit!

Tag, I have about 200rds of this, but it is Brown Bear. I'd like to know how it may shoot, but I am not sure if it will be worth the time if it doesn't group at least 1.5 MOA.

This is a precision reloading section, so you might get more traction posting this over on the RIFLES forum.
The only factory ammo I've shot out of my bolt guns has been a single box of FGMM 168gr and a single box of Portugese FNM 7.62x51.
The Port was extremely consistent with a very good SD, but it was between 1-2 inches thru my Savage 10FP LE2b. Clocked right in at 2900 fps out of my 26" tube.
