So here's my current projected setup...
Remington 700P
Sightron SIII 6-24x
Seekins 30mm Medium rings
Harris 6-9 swivel/notched

Now... what base should I go with? I'm utterly confused as to which ones I should be looking at. Should I just go with the Seekins base? I think it's a 1 piece base... was told to get a 2 piece.

Re: What base should I go with?

Seekins is GTG, don't get a 2 piece, if your planning on shooting long distance get one with built in elevation (20MOA)
Badger is also good, as is Ken Farrel, EGW is good, and cheap...I could go on all day

Re: What base should I go with?

I would go with Seekins base, matching set up with the rings.

Re: What base should I go with?

Get a Seekins 1 piece 20 MOA base if your scope has more than 50 MOA of internal elevation. If less than 50 MOA then get a flat base and learn how to do hold overs.

Re: What base should I go with?

+1 if you can afford Seekins its never a bad option... Seekins makes great stuff!

Re: What base should I go with?

I always have liked one piece bases more. Nice scope you have!
I love my sightron SIII. Its as good as my nightforce glass just without the illuminated option.

Near manufacturing. Sorry to muddy the waters for you and add another option.
